TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic Delays on Route 13 at Truman Lake in Henry Co. Jan. 30 to Set Bridge Girders

Where: Missouri Route 13 over Truman Lake north of Deepwater in Henry County where new bridge is being constructed

When: 7 p.m.-midnight, Thursday, January 30

What: Drivers will encounter flaggers and experience traffic delays while contractor crews set girders for new bridge

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route 13 currently reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted onto northbound lanes during construction of the new bridge
  • Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic at either end of the bridge on Route 13 from 7 p.m.-midnight, Thursday, January 30
  • Drivers should expect delays while crews are setting girders
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Drivers encouraged to find alternate routes around the work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
