SIKESTON-The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house community briefing from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, to discuss an upcoming bridge project on Route Y in Dunklin County. The briefing will be held at Senath City Hall, located at 301 W. Commercial St.
"Visitors can stop-by anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. to discuss the details with a member of the project team and provide their comments," said Project Manager Eric Krapf.
Improvements to the Route Y bridge over Buffalo Ditch in Dunklin County will include replacing the existing structure with a box culvert.
As the project is underway, the bridge will remain closed. Construction is expected to begin in early summer 2013, with completion in late summer 2013.
