Bridge rehabilitation projects planned for Maries County Route AA

Website now live for projects over the Maries River and Little Maries River

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – A project is in the planning stage to rehabilitate the Maries River and Little Maries River bridges on Maries County Route AA. Both bridge decks have deteriorated to the point of needing replacement, but the supporting structures are in good condition. The current plan involves closing the roadway at each bridge while the bridge’s deck is removed and replaced. Both bridges will not be closed at the same time. Construction is expected in summer 2025.

Interested parties can learn more about the two bridge projects on the website: https://www.modot.org/route-aa-bridge-rehabilitation-over-maries-river-maries. While there, you can sign up for project updates.
