Public Hearing Scheduled to Discuss Construction of Diverging Diamond Interchange in Farmington

SIKESTON- The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing to discuss plans for improvements to the intersection of Routes 221, W and 67 in Farmington.  The meeting will be held Wednesday, July 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Farmington Civic Center, located at Two Black Knight Drive in Farmington.

The meeting will have an open-house format, so visitors can stop by to talk one-on-one with a member of the project team anytime between 4 and 7 p.m.  No formal presentation will be given. 

The project involves constructing a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) in Farmington. Additionally, the bridge will be re-decked and striped for four lanes of traffic and access changes will be made to Walker Drive.
