Kansas City area maintenance work for Dec. 23-27

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Dec. 23-27. No maintenance work is scheduled for Dec. 25. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

U.S. Highway 69 northbound from Interstate 35 to Excelsior Springs: intermittent lane closures throughout the week, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

JACKSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 7 between Mock Ave and U.S. Highway 40: intermittent lane closures on Mon., Dec. 23, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for sign repairs.

Interstate 70 westbound and eastbound between The Paseo and Manchester Trafficway: left lane closed from Thu., Dec. 26 until Fri., Dec. 27, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for barrier wall repair.

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Zummalt Rd.: flagging operation from Thu., Dec. 26, until Fri., Dec. 27, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for brush cutting.

U.S. Highway 50 between Missouri Highway 291 and Route F: intermittent lane closures on Thu., Dec. 26 and Fri., Dec. 27, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for litter clean-up.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route UU between Route M and NW 501 Rd.: full closure on Mon., Dec. 23, Thu., Dec. 26, and Fri., Dec. 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for brush cutting.

Missouri Highway 23 between Route E and Lafayette County line: flagging operation on Mon., Dec. 23, and Thu., Dec. 26, from approximately 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route FF between U.S. Highway 50 and Route D: flagging operation on Fri., Dec. 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route D at various locations: various closures throughout the week for brush cutting.

RAY COUNTY

Route D between Raum St. and Pennsylvania St. in Lawson: flagging operation on Mon., Dec. 23, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

Route EE: various closures throughout the week for brush cutting.
