TRAFFIC ALERT: Route Z CLOSED in Henry Co. for Pipe Replacement Dec. 30-Jan. 10

Where: Nine (9) locations along Henry County Route Z between Southeast County Road 251 and Henry County Route U north of Lowry City

When: 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, December 30 through Friday, January 10

What: MoDOT crews replacing damaged pipes underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route Z CLOSED where crews are working
  • Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but will not be able to travel through the work zone
  • No signed detours
  • All Route Z lanes OPEN during nighttime hours and on weekends
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
