MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. Route 65 Traffic Shift over the Finley River Bridge south of Route 14

Where: U.S. Route 65 traffic shifted to the left onto the new lanes over the Finley River Bridge just south of Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) in Ozark

When: Tuesday, December 17

What: Contractor crews shifted traffic to the left, in both directions, onto the new lanes over the Finley River Bridge. U.S. Route 65 is Open to two 10-foot lanes in each directions. Crews will begin working on the right lanes, in both directions, of the Finley River Bridge as part of the U.S. Route 65 Highway Widening in Christian County project.

Traffic Impacts:

  • U.S. Route 65 traffic shifted to the left onto the new lanes over the Finley River Bridge south of Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) in Ozark
  • U.S. Route 65 is Open to two 10-foot lanes in each directions
  • No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone and inform the public when there is reduced speeds and traffic delays
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
