Boring operations scheduled for Interstate 44

Single lane closures between mile markers 157 & 158.4

JEFFERSON CITY – Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct boring operations on Interstate 44 in Pulaski County, between mile markers 157 and 158.4, beginning Monday, Dec. 16. This work will require nightly single-lane closures from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. as follows:

  • Monday, Dec. 16:
    • Eastbound passing lane.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 17:
    • Westbound passing lane.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 18:
    • Eastbound driving lane.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
