JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – A bridge replacement project on Missouri Route 19 over Standing Rock Creek in Dent County began this week. The bridge is to remain open throughout construction. The three phases of the project will impact traffic in different ways:
Phase 1 – Construction of new bridge and roadway alongside the existing structure.
- Short-term, intermittent flagging operations.
Phase 2 - Construction of northbound lane of realigned Route 19
- Temporary traffic signals with traffic narrowed to a single lane.
Phase 3 - Construction of southbound lane of realigned Rte. 19
- Temporary traffic signals with traffic narrowed to a single lane.
