TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closure at Eastbound I-44/Spring River Bridge in Lawrence Co., Dec. 13-15

Where: Eastbound I-44 over Spring River bridge in Lawrence County west of Mt. Vernon near Mile Marker 43

When: 8 p.m., Friday, December 13 through 6 a.m., Sunday, December 15

What: Contractor crews repairing expansion joint at the bridge

Traffic Impacts:

  • One eastbound lane CLOSED for duration of the repair
  • One eastbound lane OPEN at all times
  • Drivers should watch for crews and equipment working close to traffic
  • Drivers should expect delays
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate routes to avoid work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
