St. Louis Work Zones November 28-December 4

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will suspend most work on interstates and state-maintained highways to reduce congestion and ease travel during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, starting Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1.

Traffic will be restricted in areas where there are permanent barriers. Emergency roadwork will also be performed as needed. Normal work operations on all construction projects will resume at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec 2.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed from Lindbergh to north of Bayless through the end of 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, Cherokee entrance ramp to southbound I-55 closed through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through the end of 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 will be closed through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound I-55 is closed through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound will be closed through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed between Lindbergh and Reavis Barracks Road through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed between Reavis Barracks Rd. and Virginia through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed from I-44 to north of Bates through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two southbound lanes closed from north of Bates to north of Weber and one southbound lane closed north of Weber to Reavis Barracks through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one southbound lane closed between I-44 and Gasconade through 2025.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two southbound lanes closed from Reavis Barracks to north of South Lindbergh through 2024.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, westbound West Florissant on ramp to westbound I-70 closed through November.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound lanes at Route 180 closed through December 2024. Traffic has been switched to southbound side of Route 67, with one lane in each direction.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, Riverview Dr. entrance ramp to eastbound I-270 closed and eastbound I-270 exit ramp to Riverview closed through 2025.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, southbound Riverview Dr. under I-270 closed through 2024.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, various northbound and southbound lanes narrowed between I-64 and Olive through late 2025.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed from Cady to Frost through 2024.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Thoroughman to Robert Avenue through 2024.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed from Lakeview to Thoroughman through 2024.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Walnut Grove School Drive to Taille De Noyer Drive.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Lake Pembroke Drive to Frost.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed at Emerling Drive.
  • Route 79, St. Charles County, one northbound lane closed over I-70.
  • Route 79, St. Charles County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed over Norfolk Railroad bridge.
  • Route 79, St. Charles County, two northbound lanes closed over Route 71.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one lane closed at West Four Ridge overpass.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, one northbound lane closed from Schenk Road to Route 141.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, old Route 21 (Schenk Road) exit closed over new Route 21.
  • Route 21, Jefferson County, West Rock bridge closed.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one lane closed southbound at I-55 through 2024.
