Kansas City area maintenance work for Dec. 2 - 6

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Dec. 2 - 6. All work is weather permitting.

JOHNSON COUNTY

  • Missouri Highway 58 between US Highway 50 and Holden: flagging operation from Mon. Dec. 2. until Fri. Dec. 6, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair.
  • Missouri Route VV will be closed between SW 871 and SW 100 on Mon. Dec. 2 from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting operations.
  • Missouri Route 13 between SE 300 and Business 13: flagging operation from Mon. Dec. 2 until Tues. Dec. 3 from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for shoulder repair operations.
  • Missouri Route 13 between U.S. Highway 50 and Division Road: flagging operation on Wed. Dec. 4 from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for shoulder repair operations.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
