JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Route D in several locations across Camden and Laclede counties the first week of December. Short segments of the road will be closed 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily for culvert replacements.
The current planned schedule is:
- Dec. 2
- Laclede County: closed north of Eldridge, from Navy Drive to Kansas Road.
- Laclede County: closed at Laurel Road.
- Dec. 3
- Laclede County: closed 0.5 miles north of Laurel Road.
- Laclede County: closed at Nathan Lane.
- Dec. 4
- Laclede County: closed at Nathan Lane.
- Dec. 5
- Camden County: closed from Aubrey Bell Road to Brush Arbor Road.
- Dec. 6
- Camden County: closed 1.5 miles south of U.S. Route 54.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
