U.S. Route 65 Highway Widening in Christian County

Where: U.S. Route 65 lane closures at the Finley River bridge between Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) and Business 65/Route F (South Street) in Ozark

When: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, November 19-22

What: Contractor crews to close lanes on Route 65 for paving operations in Ozark as part of the U.S. Route 65 Highway Widening in Christian County project. Route 65 will be reduced to one single 10-foot lane during the daytime hours.

Traffic Impacts:

  • U.S. Route 65 lane closures at the Finley River bridge between Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) and Business 65/Route F (South Street) in Ozark
  • Route 65 is OPEN to a single 10-foot lane in each direction
  • No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone and inform the public when there is reduced speeds and traffic delays
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
