Kansas City area maintenance work for Nov. 11-15

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Nov. 11-15. The following work may have an impact on traffic. All work is weather permitting. 

JACKSON COUNTY 

The following work will take place, Nov. 12-15: 

  • Nov. 12: EB U.S. 40 will have a right lane closure between Blue Ridge Cutoff and I-70 for drain repair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (approximately).  
  • Nov. 12: WB Colbern Rd. over I-470 will have intermittent lane closures for mud jacking work from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. (approximately).   
  • Nov. 13: EB Colbern Rd. over I-470 will have intermittent lane closures for mud jacking work from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. (approximately).  
  • Nov. 14-15: Crews will be trimming trees on Route F between Zummalt Rd. and U.S. 50 please use caution while traveling in the area. 

JOHNSON COUNTY 

The following work will take place from (approximately) 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily: 

  • Nov. 12: MO Route 23 will have a flagging operation from County Rd. NE 175 to County Rd. NE 400 for roadway pavement sealing. 
  • Nov. 12-13: Route P will have a full closure in both directions from NE County Rd. 250 to where state maintenance ends for brush cutting.  
  • Nov. 12-15: MO Route 58 will have a flagging operation from U.S. Route 50 to Holden, MO for roadway pavement repair. 
  • Nov. 14-15: Route PP will have a full closure in both directions from Route 321 to Route 251 from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (approximately) for brush cutting. 

SALINE COUNTY 

  • Permit work requires the closure of northbound and southbound MO Route N for culvert replacements at U.S. Highway 65 on Tuesday, November 12 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. All work is weather permitting. Details: https://www.modot.org/node/58717
