ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use the depressed lanes of Interstate 44 in the city of St. Louis may expect delays as one lane will be closed between the Poplar Street Bridge and Washington Avenue from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday, October 31; Friday, November 1; and Monday, November 4.
In addition, the ramp from westbound I-64 (the Poplar Street Bridge across the Mississippi River) to eastbound I-44 in that area will be closed at the same time. To detour around the ramp closure, drivers can use Walnut to 4th Street to Martin Luther King Drive.
