PETTIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing Route M between Route V and Echo Rd. for a bridge replacement over Lake Creek. The closure will begin on Mon., Oct. 14 with the project expected to be completed in March 2025. A signed detour will be in place for the duration of the closure along Routes W, DD, and KK. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
