LAFAYETTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lane closures on Lafayette County Route D between Interstate 70 and Missouri Highway 224 in Napoleon for resurfacing. Work will take place from Wed., Oct. 2 until Fri., Oct. 25, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. The project will involve the use of a flagging operation with pilot cars to help traffic navigate through the work zone. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
