JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will perform the following pavement repair work at various locations in Jackson County, evening and overnight, Sept. 27-29.
7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 until 5 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 (evening and overnight)
- One lane closure on EB I-435 just past 87th St.
- Ramp from U.S. 40 to WB I-470 will be closed
- One lane closure on WB/SB I-470 just south of U.S. 40
7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 until 5 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 (evening and overnight)
- Double lane closure on NB I-49 between 140th St. and Harry S. Truman Dr.
All work is weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
