Asphalt repair work to close Route E in Fayette next week

From Route 5 to Adams Fork Creek

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Road repair work on Howard County Route E, in Fayette, is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. The road will be closed in sections from Route 5 to the Adams Fork Creek Bridge.

MoDOT maintenance crews are planning work from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday until the work is completed.  

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
