SIKESTON – Route J in Dunklin County will be closed as contractor crews replace a bridge.
This section of roadway is located between County Road 215 and County Road 219 near Malden, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Sept. 30 with completion anticipated Sunday, Dec. 15. The road will remain closed as work is underway, and motorists should seek alternate routes. A signed detour will be in place.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
