ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Interstate 55 and Interstate 44 in the city of St. Louis at night should be aware of several upcoming ramp closures over the next two weeks.
During the closures, crews will be resurfacing ramps along the corridor. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted.
Currently, crews plan to resurface ramps on the following days:
- Monday, September 16: 8 p.m.- 11 p.m., ramp from Arsenal to northbound I-55 will be closed; 11 p.m. – 6 a.m., ramp from southbound I-55 to Arsenal (Exit 206C) will be closed.
- Tuesday, September 17: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., ramp from northbound I-55 to Arsenal (Exit 206C) will be closed; 11 p.m. - 6 a.m., ramp from Arsenal to southbound I-55 will be closed.
- Wednesday, September 18: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., the ramp from northbound I-55 to Gravois (Exit 207A) will be closed; 11 p.m. - 6 a.m., the ramp from Gravois to southbound I-55 will be closed.
- Thursday September 19: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., the ramp from eastbound I-44 to Lafayette (Exit 290B) will be closed; 11 p.m. - 6 a.m., the ramp from Lafayette to westbound I-44 and the ramp at Lafayette along the ramp to westbound I-44 will be closed.
- Friday, September 20: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., the Truman Parkway Ramp at northbound I-55 (Exit 207B) will be closed; 11 p.m. - 6 a.m., the ramp from westbound I-44 to 12th Street (Exit 290A) will be closed.
- Monday, September 23: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., the ramp from northbound I-55 to Park Street (Exit 290C) will be closed; 11 p.m. - 6 a.m., the ramp from westbound I-44 to 7th Street (Exit 290C) and the ramp from 7th Street to southbound I-55 and westbound I-44 will be closed.
Detours will be marked during the ramp closures.
