MO Route 74 in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Intersection Improvements

SIKESTON – Missouri Route 74 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews begin work to install new a camera and signals as well pavement repairs. This section of the roadway is located from Wolverine Road to South Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau. Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30 with completion anticipated Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. 

The work zones will be marked with signs and message boards. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
