TRAFFIC ALERT:  Lane Closure, Traffic Delays at Eastbound I-44/Pickerel Creek Bridge Sept. 12 

Where: Eastbound I-44 over Pickerel Creek in Greene County west of Springfield near Mile Marker 64.2

When: 7 p.m.-7 a.m., Thursday, September 12

What: Contractor crews repairing shoulder at the bridge

Traffic Impacts:

  • Driving (right) lane CLOSED where crews are working
  • Traffic shifted to passing (left) lane
  • Drivers should expect delays
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate routes to avoid work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
