ST. LOUIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will host a public meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4-6 p.m. to discuss planned upgrades for Route D (Page Ave.), between Pennsylvania Ave. and Kienlen/Skinker Blvds. The open-house style meeting will be held at the Carter Commons Food Hall Event Space, 6746 Page Ave., 63133.
The Route D project will replace aging pavement and traffic signals, improve connectivity for pedestrians and all modes of transportation, and drainage improvements along the corridor.
Stakeholders were provided the opportunity to voice their concerns on the project during an initial public meeting this past December. The September 18 meeting will share preliminary plans for the corridor based on information gathered from stakeholders, traffic data and a road safety audit.
The meeting is being co-hosted by St. Louis County staff, who will discuss resurfacing and ADA improvements for their Pennsylvania Ave. project, which intersects with the Route D project.
Trailnet will distribute bike safety helmets for children at this meeting.
