TRAFFIC ALERT: Barton County Route V CLOSED for Bridge Work Sept. 11 & 12

Where: Barton County Route V bridge over Little Dry Wood Creek between 35th Lane and 45th Lane northeast of Liberal

When: 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday & Thursday, September 11 & 12

What: MoDOT crews doing bridge work on Route V

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route V CLOSED where crews are working
  • Drivers will have access to all driveways and entrances on either end of the bridge, but will not be able to drive through the work zone
  • All Route V lanes OPEN to traffic during nighttime hours
  • No signed detours
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
