ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Green Park Road under I-55 in south St. Louis County should be aware that the road will close overnight next week, weather permitting.
Crews will close Green Park Road under I-55 Tuesday, September 10 at 1 a.m. to place concrete on the I-55 bridge over the roadway. Green Park Road will reopen Tuesday, September 10 by noon.
Grant’s Trail is currently expected to remain open during this closure.
During the closure, trucks leaving the industrial area on the west side of the interstate can detour using Green Park, Route 21 and Lindbergh. Cars can use Mueller Road, Lindbergh and Union to detour around the closure.
