SIKESTON – Route D in New Madrid County will be closed as contractor crews replace a bridge.
This section of roadway is located between Route E and Route W near Catron, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Sept. 9 with completion anticipated Friday, Jan. 10. The road will remain closed as work is underway, and motorists should seek alternate routes. A signed detour will be in place.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
