SIKESTON—Route 51 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform utility work on the shoulder.
This section of roadway is located from Interstate 55 to U.S. Route 61 in Perryville, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 3 through Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
