Taney County – Contractor crews are set to CLOSE the Missouri Route 76 eastbound bridge over the MNA Railroad north of Branson for up to 103 days beginning the week of August 12, to rehabilitate the bridge, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Approximately 6000 vehicles cross the bridge daily.
After completion of the eastbound Route 76 bridge, crews will begin rehabilitating the westbound bridge in January 2025.
Here’s a look at the project:
- Missouri Route 76 CLOSED between Missouri Route 248 and Missouri Route 376 north of Branson for up to 103 days
- Missouri Route 376 to eastbound Route 76 ramp CLOSED
- Westbound Route 76 and Route 376 are OPEN
- Drivers will be directed along a signed detour using Route 376, Missouri Route 265, Route 13, Route 248
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the closure
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
