Multi-county resurfacing project moving to Andrew, DeKalb U.S. Route 169 segment

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 169 in Andrew and DeKalb counties on Tuesday, July 30. The route will be resurfaced beginning at the intersection of Missouri Route 31 in DeKalb County and end at the intersection of Interstate 29 in Buchanan County.

During construction, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone, Monday-Saturday during daylight hours. Motorists should expect delays.

The remaining routes are tentatively scheduled to be resurfaced later this year:

  • Buchanan County Route 45 – September 18.
  • Buchanan County Route 59 – September 24.

The completed routes are as follows:

  • Gentry County Route CC.
  • Gentry/Andrew Missouri Route 48.
  • Andrew County Route E.

The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
