WILLOW SPRINGS—Route DD in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane with width restriction of 10-foot as contractor crews resurface the asphalt.
This section of roadway is located from Route 76 in Douglas County to the end of state maintenance.
As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Aug. 6 through Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
