Permit Work requires lane closures on MO Route 9 (Burlington Street) in Clay County, July - Aug

CLAY COUNTY – Utility permit work requires various lane closures on MO Route 9 (Burlington Street) between 12th Avenue north to 26th Avenue in North Kansas City. See below for dates/times. This is not a complete closure, but motorist should expect delays. All work is weather permitting.

  • Saturday, July 20 between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 27 between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, August 03 between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, August 10 between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
