Where: Missouri Route 59 between McDonald County Route EE and Hillcrest Drive in Lanagan
When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m., Friday, July 12 through Friday, July 19
What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment to help improve traction at curves. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic reduced to one during nighttime hours on Route 59 between Route EE and Hillcrest Drive in Lanagan where crews are working
- Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
- All Route 59 lanes open to traffic during daytime hours and weekends
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
