HANNIBAL – During its regular meeting on July 10 the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for resurfacing projects in the Northeast District.
- A $7.8M contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, for resurfacing five disconnected sections on U.S. Route 63 from 0.6 miles south of Route YY in Macon County to 1.8 miles north of U.S. Route 24 near Moberly in Randolph County.
- A $5.4M contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, for coldmill and resurfacing at the following locations in Montgomery County:
- Missouri Route 19 - from 0.2 miles north of Montgomery City to 1.7 miles south of Interstate 70.
- Missouri Route 19 - from 1.7 miles south of Interstate 70 to 1.2 miles south of Missouri Route 94 near McKittrick.
- A $6.6M contract was awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, for resurfacing projects at the following locations in Randolph County:
- U.S. Route 63 - from 0.3 miles south of U.S. Route 24 at Moberly to the Boone County line.
- U.S. Route 24 – from the Chariton County line to 1.5 miles west of Route C near Huntsville.
- A $1.3M contract was awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, for a bridge replacement project on Adair County Route A over North Fork South Fabius River, located 1.2 miles west of Route J near Willmathsville.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
