TRAFFIC ALERT: Closures scheduled on MO Route Z in Platte County, July - Aug.

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting culvert replacement operations on MO Route Z near Dearborn. All work is weather permitting.

Work will take place between approximately 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. See below for details:

  • Crews will close MO Route Y and Interurban at MO Route Z beginning on approx. Monday, July 15
  • Crews will close MO Route Z at June St. and July St. at MO Route Z in Dearborn beginning on approx. Tuesday, July 23
  • Crews will close MO Route Z about .5 mile west of Camp Pawnee Road beginning on approx. Wednesday, July 24
  • Crews will close at .10 mile west of MO Route DD on MO Route Z beginning on approx. Thursday, July 25
  • Crews will close the intersection of MO Route Z and MO Route DD and MO DD will be closed at MO Route Z beginning on approx. Monday, July 29
  • Crews will close MO Route Z at MO Route DD and .01 miles east of DD beginning on approx. Monday, August 12
  • Crews will close Davis Chapel with a flagging operation on MO Route Z on approx. Wednesday, August 14
  • Crews will close MO Route Z .10 mile east of Sherwood Forest Road on approx. Thursday, Aug. 15

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
