St. Louis Work Zones July 11-17

ST. LOUIS – Drivers traveling on westbound Interstate 70 between South 5th Street and Route 94/First Capitol Drive can expect lane shifts starting overnight Monday, July 15. All work is weather permitting.

Four westbound I-70 lanes will remain open. The Fairgrounds/Convention Center Boulevard ramp to westbound I-70 will be temporarily detoured onto the new North Outer Road alongside westbound I-70 between Fairgrounds/Convention Center Boulevard and Route 94. Motorists can use the jughandle connections located north of the I-70/Route 94 interchange to circle and continue west on I-70. This lane shift is expected to remain until mid-November.

This work is part of the I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project.

  • I-55, St. Louis City, one northbound lane closed from Lindbergh to north of Bayless through the end of 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through the end of 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to northbound I-55 closed will be closed through 2024.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound I-55 is closed through 2024.

  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound lanes at Route 180 closed through December 2024. Traffic has been switched to southbound side of Route 67, with one lane in each direction.
  • Route AB, St. Louis County, one eastbound and westbound lane closed under I-270 through 2025.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed from Thoroughman to Frost Avenue through 2024.
