Where: U.S. Route 160 between west of Silvercreek Road and Thurman east of Merriam Woods
When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. Wednesday & Thursday, July 10 & 11
What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment at various locations to help improve traction at curves. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
Traffic Impacts:
- U.S. Route 160 between west of Silvercreek Road and Thurman east of Merriam Woods
- Route 160 is OPEN
- Drivers will encounter lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
