Emergency Closure of Route RA/SE Ranson Rd. July 1-3

LEES SUMMIT – Route RA/SE Ranson Road from Browning Rd. to SE Bailey Rd. in Lee’s Summit is closing immediately due to additional culvert pipe issues until repairs can be made. Missouri Department of Transportation crews are working to reopen the road by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, weather permitting.

Traffic will be able to access James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area from the north entrance. Motorists will need to plan accordingly.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
