Closures scheduled for bridge rehab work on MO Route 92 at the bridge over I-29, NOW - August 16

UPDATED: PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic modifications for bridge rehabilitation work on Missouri Route 92 at the bridge over I-29 in Platte City. Motorists should follow signed detour. All work is weather permitting.

  • Eastbound and westbound MO Route 92 will be closed at the bridge over I-29 starting daily Monday, June 10 at 10 a.m. to Friday, August 16 at 4 p.m.
  • Various nighttime lane closures on southbound I-29 at Missouri Route 92 starting daily between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, June 10 until Friday, August 16.
  • Southbound I-29 under the bridge at MO Route 92 and Eastbound MO Route 92 to southbound I-29 ramp will be closed starting daily Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. until Monday, June 17 at 6 a.m.
  • Northbound I-29 will have various lane closures for nighttime work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Monday, June 17 until Friday, August 16.
  • Southbound I-29 will be closed for bridge deck removal over interstate, SB ramps will be used to detour traffic around bridge reconstruction starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 28 until Monday, July 1 at 6 a.m.
  • Eastbound MO Route 92 ramp to SB I-29 will be closed for bridge deck removal over interstate starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 28 until Monday, July 1 at 6 a.m.

The Platte City Special Road District work on Route N:

The Platte City Special Road District will be conducting operations on Route N between the Copper Ridge subdivision (NW 133rd Street) and the Seven Bridges subdivision (NW 129th Street) starting on Thursday, May 6 until Monday, August 19. All work is weather permitting.
