JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make the following lane closures, daily, June 17-22 for Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) replacement.
Monday, June 17 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The right lane of EB I-470 will be closed from Blue Ridge Blvd. to Raytown Rd.
Tuesday, June 18 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The right lane of SB I-435 will be closed from Gregory Blvd. to 87th St.
Wednesday, June 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The right lane of SB 71 HWY will be closed from 75th St. to 87th St.
Thursday, June 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The right lane of NB I-49 will be closed from 150 HWY to 135th St.
Friday, June 21 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- The right lane of SB I-49 will be closed from 140th St. to 150 HWY
Saturday, June 22 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- The two right hand lanes of NB I-35 will be closed from Cambridge Cr. to Jarboe St. for DMS board replacement.
- NB I-35 will be reduced to one lane in this area.
- The ramp from Cambridge Cr. to NB I-35 will also be closed.
This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
