CLAY COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will perform resurfacing operations and pavement repairs at various locations in Clay County requiring the following lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting.
- RESCHEDULED: Various lane closures will take place on U.S. Highway 69 at N. Highland Ave. in each direction. Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 15 at 6 a.m. (Rescheduled from Thursday, June 13)
- CANCELED: Crews will conduct a flagging operation on Winn Rd. at the on ramp to southbound I-35 at N. Brighton Ave. Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 15 at 6 a.m. (This work will be rescheduled for a later date)
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
