Where: Missouri Route 14 (Jefferson Street) CLOSED South of U.S. Route 60 between Route 60 and Pine Street in Billings
When: Monday, June 24, until Monday, July 1
What: Contractor crews to install drainage pipes, new turn radius’ and sidewalk. Shoulder work will continue after the road opens on July 1st. Work is part of the Resurfacing Project on U.S. Route 60 and Railroad Crossing Improvements along U.S. Route 60 in Christian, Greene & Lawrence Counties.
Traffic Impacts:
- Missouri Route 14 (Jefferson Street) CLOSED South of U.S. Route 60 between Route 60 and Pine Street in Billings
- Route 60 OPEN
- Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
