MoDOT reschedules eastbound Interstate 44 on-ramp from Route 50 closure to late June/early July

FRANKLIN COUNTY –The eastbound Interstate 44 on-ramp from eastbound Route 50 closure has been rescheduled for late June or early July.

The closure has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The exact date is yet to be determined. MoDOT will send out an update when more information becomes available.

Crews will be completing essential bridge deck sealing work on I-44 over the Bourbeuse River will need to close the ramp to traffic. Up to two eastbound lanes of I-44 from Route 50 to Route O will also be closed for the bridge repair. The exit to Route O will remain open but with a short diverge.

The work is expected to be completed overnight once the date has been confirmed.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the signed detour from Route AT to Route 100. The work was originally scheduled for Monday, June 17.

Electronic message boards are in place to inform drivers about the scheduled work zone.
