MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Railroad Crossing CLOSED west of U.S. Route 60 Between Marionville & Billings

Beginning Monday, June 24

Where: Railroad crossings CLOSED permanently west of U.S. Route 60 at the following locations

  • O’Dell Street railroad crossing between Ash Street and Frisco Street in Marionville
  • County Road 2175 railroad crossing between Poinsetta Road and U.S. Route 60 north of Marionville
  • Lambeth Road railroad crossing between Kastendieck Road and U.S. Route 60 north of Marionville

When: Monday, June 24

What: Contractor crews to permanently CLOSE three (3) railroad crossings west of U.S. Route 60 between Marionville and Billings. Work is part of the Resurfacing Project on U.S. Route 60 and Railroad Crossing Improvements along U.S. Route 60 in Christian, Greene & Lawrence Counties.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Railroad crossings CLOSED  permanently west of U.S. Route 60 at the following locations
    • O’Dell Street railroad crossing between Ash Street and Frisco Street in Marionville
    • County Road 2175 railroad crossing between Poinsetta Road and U.S. Route 60 north of Marionville
    • Lambeth Road railroad crossing between Kastendieck Road and U.S. Route 60 north of Marionville
  • Route 60 OPEN in both directions
  • O’Dell Street railroad closure signed detour: Mill Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and Missouri Route 14
  • County Road 2175 and Lambeth Road closures do not have signed detours
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
