MoDOT to close eastbound Interstate 44 on-ramp from Route 50 Monday, June 17 for bridge deck sealing

FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the eastbound Interstate 44 on-ramp from eastbound Route 50 on Monday, June 17 starting at 8 p.m.

Crews will be completing essential bridge deck sealing work on I-44 over the Bourbeuse River on Monday, June 17 and will need to close the ramp to traffic. Starting at 8 p.m., Monday, June 17, up to two eastbound lanes of I-44 from Route 50 to Route O will also be closed for the bridge repair. The exit to Route O will remain open but with a short diverge.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the signed detour from Route AT to Route 100.

Both lanes and the eastbound ramp are expected to reopen by 3 a.m. Tuesday, June 18. Electronic message boards are in place to inform drivers about the scheduled work zone.
