Where: U.S. Route 65 between south of Industrial Park Drive and south of Buffalo Ridge Bouvard south of Hollister
When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 until Friday, July 28
What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment at various locations to help improve traction at curves. Crews will begin work on southbound Route 65 first. Once southbound Route 65 is complete they will begin work on northbound Route 65. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
Traffic Impacts:
- U.S. Route 65 between south of Industrial Park Drive and south of Buffalo Ridge Bouvard south of Hollister during nighttime hours
- Route 65 is OPEN
- Drivers will encounter lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
