Closures scheduled on various routes in Clay County for pavement operations, June 10 - June 15

CLAY COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will perform resurfacing operations and pavement repairs at various locations in Clay County requiring the following lane and ramp closures. All work is weather permitting.

 

  • Crews will close the ramp from eastbound Missouri Route 152 to N. Oak Trafficway starting Monday, June 10 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, June 11 at 6 a.m.
  • Crews will close the off ramp from southbound U.S. Highway 169 to 68th starting Monday, June 10 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, June 11 at 6 a.m.
  • Various lane closures will take place on 68th at U.S. Highway 169 in both directions starting Monday, June 10 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, June 11 at 6 a.m.
  • Various lane closures will take place on U.S. Highway 69 at N. Highland Ave. in each direction starting Thursday, June 13 at 7 p.m. until Friday, June 14 at 6 a.m.
  • Crews will close Winn Rd. at the on ramp to southbound I-35 at N. Brighton Ave. starting Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 15 at 6 a.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
