HANNIBAL – During its regular meeting on June 5 the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for an interchange improvement, a bridge rehabilitation, and a safety improvement projects in the Northeast District.
- A $15.4M contract was awarded to KCI Construction Company, for an interchange improvement project on Missouri Route 47 at U.S. Route 61 in Lincoln County.
- A $1.8M contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., for a bridge rehabilitation project on Missouri Route 6, over U.S. Routes 24/61 near Taylor, in Marion County.
- A $75,668 contract was awarded to Surface Preparation Technologies, LLC, for a safety improvement project which adds a centerline rumble strip on U.S. Route 54, 0.3 mile south of Bus. Route 54 in Vandiver to 0.6 mile north of Route 15 in Mexico, in Audrain County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
