JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – One lane of westbound Interstate 44 near mile marker 173 in Phelps County to close nightly June 12 through July 2 for bridge work. Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close one lane of westbound I-44 over the Little Piney River beginning Wednesday, June 12, to complete inlet cleaning and place new guardrail on the bridge. Work will take place between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly until complete. Motorists may experience delays.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
